Connee Sheckler (nee Rauser) was born & raised in the Irvington
neighborhood of (Southwest) Baltimore, Maryland.  She attended St. Joseph's Monastery Elementary School & Archbishop Keough High School.  After graduation in 1974, she was hired as a clerk-stenographer at the Social Security Administration. Years later, in 1997, after working as staff assistant to the Commissioner of Social Security & as a public affairs specialist at both Social Security and in the White House, Connee became a PowerPoint pioneer.

As Social Security's sole PowerPoint Specialist, Connee transformed speeches  of executives & high-ranking government officials into quality presentations, quickly earning the "Presentation Guru" nickname.  She received numerous
honors & awards, including a nomination for Innovation in Government by Harvard University &  individual & group Agency Awards for high quality.
Her extensive design experience includes 3-D &  advanced animations.  Connee elected
"early out" retirement in 2010 to begin the
Presentation Guru business.

In addition to Presentation Guru, Connee also has a business to preserve photographs and music on DVD to honor the memory of a deceased loved one or to capture favorite moments from weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, etc.  If you have ever been to a wedding or funeral home,
you have probably seen her videos displayed.

Connee has been married for 36 years to her husband, Bob, who
is the Postmaster of Chestertown, Maryland.  The Sheckler's reside in Easton, Maryland where they enjoy entertaining family and friends.  Connee & Bob have three grown children,
a daughter-in-law, a son-in-common- law, three grandsons
and two granddaughters .

The Sheckler's are avid movie buffs and Baltimore Ravens' fans who enjoy trips to the beach.

In loving memory of Dave Montville (shown in top photo, seated), the father-in-law of Connee's son, Jon.  Dave passed away from cancer on June 28, 2012 and is deeply missed.

JAMESON

On August 2, 2016, after 36 years of owning cats, we adopted Jameson from the Talbot County, Maryland Humane Society.  Jameson is a 3-year-old half Beagle, half American Foxhound.  The only reason Jameson was turned into the Humane Society is because he kept jumping his owners' fence. (We have an 8-foot fence.)  This dog has won our hearts and we are sincerely spoiling him.
